About PHILPA 

 

PHILPA is the Antique Car Club of Greece, a non-profit organization which was founded in 1969 by a group of friends with a passion about old cars. SInce 1972 has been chartered in its current style. The PHILPA slogan is "Inspiring people to care about old cars in Greece since 1972".

Member of the "Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens"-FIVA, i.e. the International Federation of Antique Cars, PHILPA through its over forty years of history,has embraced the historic car and motorcycle movement with many activities and events every year.Continuous actions (events, meetings, seminars, etc.) and frequent communicationwith its members, offers the opportunity to exchange views and a plethora of information about the hobby, with emphasis on the most correct restoration and conservation of historic and classic vehicles, endeavoring to be maintained as living artefacts in an era that has gone-by but also as cultural monuments. The recently signed (winter 2013) by FIVA Turin Charter is worth the time of each Member or historic car collector to read.

The Tatoi Classic Circuit is a celebration of motor sport that brings memories of legendary moments matches the period 1956-1982, with unique cars,motorcycles and top drivers.

Year by year the event host magnificent classic competition cars and motorcycles from the glory years of Tatoi,ready for competition,while impressive parade with prewar cars,classic collector automobiles,vintage motorcycles and lot of surprises and events for all visitors.
